Divine Energy

Last night while meditating I began to feel LOVE for myself then suddenly I felt every cell in my body was being flooded with Divine energy. I knew immediately that this energy had always been in me - indeed that’s what life really is!

            To re-cap…over the past few weeks I have found that I am being awakened gradually to a new understanding of LOVE. I experience it then forget…I have another little taste of divine energy then my awareness closes down and it’s forgotten again. But last night my meditation took me to a place where I was overwhelmed by LOVE. During the meditation I had consciously brought to the surface a feeling of self- love, suddenly this joy exploded into a massive wave of Divine energy. Again I was being woken up but this time I felt almost as if I was drowning in LOVE. I could hardly breathe such was the magnificent power of this feeling. Indeed as I remember it now all I could do was breathe. I could not control it or use my mind to intellectualize or compartmentalise it, all I could do was breathe and without any effort on my part LOVE continued to flow through me unabated.  

            What was so amazing was the impact of realising and accepting I was Divine. To accept this tenant created an emotion that lifted me out of myself so all I could do was bow before this overwhelming energy. I began to understand that each one of us lives with this same divine energy inside us…we are all Divine! We are all imbued with this Divine life-energy!

Excited and amazed by this new understanding I brought up images in my mind of those I love and those I do not care much about and I saw/felt that they are all as I am. We are all the same ! This Divine energy creates us constantly - the only trouble is most people are asleep - just as I usually am. They do not know that they are Divine and that LOVE is energizing them second by second. They do not know how magnificent they actually are!

            All we humans need is a process to help wake us up. Maybe this is what lies ahead? Maybe this new state of consciousness so many are predicting is about being awakened to who we really are! If so, roll on 2012.
